Voting is for losers. Why do we take the time to pick someone to make (primarily financial) decisions for us? Do we really think they care about us or are in a better position to know what is best for us? I don't think so. The only winner in the whole process is the person who is elected. The rest of us (unless of course we have the favor of the elected official in question) collectively lose. Ask anyone who ever voted in any election. For every one person who thinks they got what they wanted as a result of an election, there is someone else who believes they got screwed. Contrary to pop literature, there is no wisdom in crowds, only large numbers.
For the record I voted this morning party-line votes...and primarily due to peer pressure.
