Links for August 9, 2012

I've wondered about a Minecraft sdk.  This guy has built some cool hacks.  Must read someday.

Here's another language to learn (someday)...needs at least a dozen more times to be added to the list before actual consideration.

Not the first time I've needed to run sql from a file to insert big data.

Design Dispatcher game in the spirit of Tapper

You are in charge of getting widgets to customers in a dispatcher simulation game.  Customers make orders online, the call center takes orders over the phone and your satellite offices make requests for transfers--quite a lot going on.

Goals: fill up each van as quick as you can and get the deliveries made.
You get paid for shipping out the high margin products and getting them to your best customers quickly.
Keep an eye on your Likes and Google+...the better your reputation, the more customers you get.

Search online for a UPS/FedEx delivery simulation game.
